BANGOR – Scott Evans Green, 65, passed away Oct. 17, 2016 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor with his family by his side.
He was born July 6, 1951 in Lebanon, New Hampshire, the son of Ralph and Verna (Emery) Green.
He attended Thompson High School in Thompson, Connecticut. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge. On June 24, 1978, he married Anna Bellen in West Thompson, Connecticut. He was employed by Stevens Linen in Webster, Massachusetts, TN Marketing in Bartlett, New Hampshire, Condons Resorts in Wells, and Guilford Industries in Guilford. Scott enjoyed collecting coins, tinkering in the garage, road trips, fishing, and most of all, spending time with family.
Scott is survived by his wife of 38 years, Anna L. (Bellen) Green of Harmony; 4 sons, Thomas Bellen and wife Trina of North Conway, New Hampshire, Jacob Green and wife Sarah of Barrington, New Hampshire, Scott Green Jr. of Harmony, and Daniel Green of Greenville; 2 sisters, Colette Green and husband David Olmstead of Harrisville, New Hampshire, Heather Lemay and husband Michael of Jacksonville, Florida; 3 brothers, Gregory Green of Manchester, Connecticut, Andrew Green and wife Carol of Beverly, Massachusetts, Eric Green and wife Midge of Lyman; grandsons, Eric and Isaiah; granddaughters, Monique and Alexis; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by sisters, Pamela Green, Hope Entwistle; brother, Jason Green; sister-in-law, Donna Green.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service (Adams Chapel), 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make donations in Scott’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
