FARMINGTON – Shirley Fisher, 79 of Farmington passed away Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014 at Sandy River Center for Health Care.
She was born Aug. 14, 1935 the daughter of Albert and Carrie Mayo.
She attended Augusta area schools and worked for many years at Lipman’s processing chicken. Shirley enjoyed doing puzzles, playing Bingo, coloring, and doing word puzzles.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Louise Genereux and her husband Bruce of Plymouth; her son Dwain Fisher of North New Portland; four grandchildren Paula Stafford and husband Shane, Joseph Genereux and wife Amy, Jessie Fisher, and Daniel Fisher; two great grandchildren Kaitlyn and Shane Jr; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; sisters Betty, Dot, Madeline, Mary, and Christine; and brothers Albert and William.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Tolman officiating at Mount Hope Cemetery in Augusta.
