LIVERMORE FALLS – Steven M. Brooks, 65, passed peacefully on March 12, 2019, surrounded by love.

He was born on Sept. 4, 1953, the son of Leonard and Joan Brooks. Steve spent his younger years and later years between Livermore Falls and Farmington, Maine.

Of his various careers, he was most proud of his work as a Crane Operator, and as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. In recent years, he was most proud of and absolutely committed to his sobriety and helping others along their path. Steve was a member of Gun Owners of Maine and was an avid marksman, hunter, and fisherman. He loved rock and roll, and hitting the road in whatever vehicle was his favorite at the time.

Steve leaves behind; his well-loved collection of guns; two beloved daughters, Brandi Brooks-Jagermann and Jennalee Marsters; four grandchildren, Jaden Jagermann, Jackson Jagermann, Autumn Brooks and Cameron Brooks; brother, Tim Brooks and wife Candy. He also leaves behind an extensive circle of friends.

Steve was predeceased by his son, Jody Brooks; his parents; his brother, Cary Brooks; and his influential grandmother, Grace Brooks.

Donations in honor of Steve can be made to The Nordica Homestead Museum, 116 Nordica Lane, Farmington, ME 04938. Steve delighted in being related to Madame Nordica and spent many happy days at the Museum with his dearest friend Crystal.

A private ceremony will be held later in the spring. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.

  2. To The Family of Steven Brooks,

    I was sadden to see the obituary of this precious man. He was the first to greet us as we were moving into our new home. He always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting. His gentle manner and kind words for all will surely be missed. Our heartfelt prayers to each family member and Steven’s extended friends and family. God Bless!
