MADISON – Stuart Merle Palmer, 51, passed away Sept. 28, 2018 at his home in Madison surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 24, 1966 in Waterville, the son of Walter and Mary V. (Comeau) Palmer.
He earned his GED from Lawrence High School in 1985. On July 31, 2010, he married Sheila Norman at Embden Beach. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, older country music, and spending time with Molly Lou Palmer.
Stuart is survived by his wife, Sheila (Norman) Palmer of Madison; a daughter, Amanda Palmer and partner Kendall Judd of Athens; granddaughter, Naveh Palmer of solon; grandson, Gunner Judd of Athens; stepson, Joseph Hunt and daughter, Alexis Hunt of Madison; father-in-law, Joseph Norman of East Corinth; sister-in-law, Cheryl Tate and husband Donny of East Corinth; sisters, Bonnie Miller and husband Brian of Canaan, Lynette Palmer of Ohio, Doreen Rivers of Portland, Francin York and husband Bruce of Smithfield, Joanne Littlefield and husband Darrell of Albion, Wendy Lloyd of Washington, DC, Cathy Palmer-Deliamar and husband Terry of Mercer, Maria Thompson of North Dakota, Mary Geathell and husband Scott of Fairfield; brother Ellsworth Palmer and wife Chandra of Clinton, Glen Palmer of Clinton; special friends, Gordon Collins of Solon, Bret ad Kim Johnson of Clinton; many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Christine Norman; brothers-in-law, Robert Norman and Dan Rivers; and brother, David Palmer.
A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
