FARMINGTON FALLS – Tacy Anna Taylor, 59 of Farmington Falls died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 in a motor vehicle accident.

Tacy was born Sept. 21, 1956, a twin daughter in Philadelphia, Penn. She grew up in Malvern, Penn., and Pittsford, N.Y. before relocating to Ocean City, N.J. when she was 18, with her family.

Tacy was a free-spirited, altruistic woman who took comfort in nature and caring for animals. She was an amazing artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. Tacy had a great passion for dancing and enjoyed exercising especially in her younger years. She was an incredibly selfless woman whom always put others before herself and always showed concern, and compassion for her family and friends, especially her children. She was a loving mother, and “Grammy” and will be missed greatly.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kara Mercer and her husband Curt of Farmington, Audra Decker-Taylor of Waterville, Rhys Taylor of Farmington; her mother, Emma Beideman of Florida; twin sister Cynthia Scott and her husband Frank of New Jersey, sister Carolyn Andrews and her husband Mark of Virginia, brother Charles Claphanson and wife Cyndee of Arizona; grandchildren, Kaleb Mercer, Autumn Mercer, and Amyah Mercer, and one very special grand-dog Rosie.

Tacy is predeceased by her loving stepfather Donald beideman “Grandy.”

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation being held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938. A celebration of life will begin at 3:00 and all are welcome to bring a memory to share. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o Kara Mercer, 179 Maple Ave., Farmington, ME 04938.
