STARKS – TJ Seamon, 38, passed away at his home with a smile on his face on Feb. 11, 2019, after a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born on June 14, 1980 (Flag Day) in Graham, Texas to Daryl O. Seamon and Myra Vinton.

He attended and graduated from Maranacook High School in Readfield. Right after high school, he went on to work at Kenway Corp in Augusta for 17 years, becoming a commercial boat builder. His greatest accomplishment was when he became the father of Jaelyn Elizabeth in June of 2008, and then his son Owen Thomas in January of 2011. He was so proud to teach them forever skills. He always taught safety first. He taught them how to fish, target practice, boating, riding four wheelers and snowmobiling. TJ taught them the wonders of living in the country. Passing the time, he greatly enjoyed motorcycling, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, boating and snowboarding. He loved gardening and flowers. He was a member of the Farmington Elks Lodge #2430 for 10 years. He also attended the United Bikers of Maine event every year making new friends.

TJ is survived by his father, Daryl Seamon and wife Judy of Kingfield; his mother, Myra Vinton of Starks; his children, Jaelyn and Owen Seamon, and their mother, Holly Morgan of China; his half-sister Angel Vinton and significant other, Justin of Gardiner; his step sister, Amanda Wilbur and significant other Jeff of Kingfield; his step brother, Dale Wilbur of Portland; his nieces, Savannah, Paris, Samantha, and Oakley; his nephew, Blake; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his precious sister, Shelly Seamon; his grandmother, Harriet Buker; his grandfather, Alton Seamon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

On Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, at 1 p.m., there will be a casual Elks service at the Farmington Elks Lodge #2430, 120 School St., Farmington, ME. There will be a celebration after with food, memories, and love. Flowers are welcome and can be sent to the above Elks address.
