FARMINGTON – Vicki Gilbert Lambert, 75, passed away on March 30, 2019 at her home in Farmington, with her family at her bedside.

She was educated in the schools of Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School in the class of 1961.

On May 26, 1969, Vicki married Arthur Lambert Sr. in Industry. For many years she worked as a CNA-Med Tech in local nursing facilities. In 2008, she retired from office management.

Vicki was very involved with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was very athletic and participated in varsity sports in school, and that interest was reflected in her attendance at all sports activities that her children and grandchildren participated in. Vicki was an avid golfer and tennis player before she became ill with cancer a year ago.

Vicki is survived by her children, Frank J. Lambert and wife Sheryl of Waynesville, MO, Ruth L. Melanson and husband Mark of Chesterville; two stepsons, Arthur Lambert Jr. and partner Eric Wirta of Farmington, Kurt Lambert and partner Debbie of Madison; seven grandchildren, Travis, Kala, Kathryn, Kristina, Arron, Alicia, and Danielle; five great grandchildren; four brothers, George, James, Malcolm and Marvin; two sisters, Jane and Valerie; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Arthur Lambert Sr.; brother, Eric ; and sister, Jolene.

A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery in Farmington, later in July. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Rd., Farmington, ME 04938.

  9. wanted to thank every one for your kind words. As her daughter my mother and I were very close and I had been taking care of her for the last 6 years. I am going to miss her dearly but, I know she is not in pain and not suffering anymore. She is up there with my father and the rest of our family.
