MADISON – Virginia “Ginny” Clark of Skowhegan, passed away at Maplecrest Nursing Home after a long illness.

Ginny was the daughter of Robert and Louise Dorgan, both deceased. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Norris C. Clark; their son Scott Clark and his wife Angela of Louisville, Kentucky; their daughter Jennifer Clark and her husband Michael Connell of Skowhegan; their daughter Sharon Lee of Skowhegan;  their grandsons: Andrew Clark and his wife Faryn, Nathan Clark and his wife Sarah, Matthew Clark and his wife Marea, Cameron Clark, Christopher Egnor and his wife Mista; granddaughters: Amanda Porter and Lindsay Feliciani, and four and a half great grandchildren.

Ginny graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1950. She was employed for many years at Redington Fairview General Hospital and retired in 1995.

Ginny had a fierce love of family, and was so proud of her children and her grandchildren. She had many friends in the community and will be deeply missed by all. It is her wish to be cremated and to not have a viewing, as she would like to be remembered as the vital woman she was.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Elks Lodge on Silver Street in Skowhegan  on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Skowhegan Animal Shelter. PO Box 453, Skowhegan, Maine 04976

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Maplecrest Nursing Home, RFGH and Dialysis Clinics, Inc. of Skowhegan, for the loving and compassionate they gave our mother.
