BANGOR – Virginia G. Lovejoy, 94, of Dexter passed away in Bangor on May 4, 2015.
She was born in West Farmington the daughter of William and Josephine Nottage.
She attended Farmington Schools graduating in 1939 and went on to attend Bliss Business School in Lewiston. Virginia married M. Haldon Lovejoy on Aug. 25, 1946 and they settled in Dixfield in 1954 where they raised two sons David and William. Virginia spent many happy hours fishing Moosehead, Chesuncook, Rangeley, and Mooselookmeguntic Lakes.
Virginia is survived by her son William and wife Rita of Dexter; grandchildren Missy and husband Mike, their children Jensen and Janetta; Michele and Heather Ann; Jason and wife Amanda, their children Noah and Sadie; Joshua and wife Cathy, their daughter Alyssa; William and wife Stephanie; Abe and wife Nicole, their children Kiara, Lily, and Max.
She was predeceased by her parents, one son Sgt. David Lovejoy, and her brothers William and Richard Nottage.
A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Farmington at 9:00AM on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Arrangements under the care of Adams-McFarlane Funeral & Cremation Services, 108 Court St., Farmington.
