  1. My condolences to the family. Walter was one of my biggest tippers along with Howard Yeaton back in the Grit and Franklin Journal days.

  2. Wally and Maxine were our on loan parents as the threesome, Dave, Bob and Glenn stumbled through the 1950’s teen age days in East Wilton. Their every day attention helped get us through any obstacle encountered. Webb Lake provided us all with camp life others could only dream of, and many family encounters always included Dave’s friends to complete the circle. We’ve all watched in amazement the wonderful life these two beautiful people shared for 72 years, and now they are together again. They worked all their lives for this moment, and the rest of us can only hope we can approach their effort. Dave, thanks for letting me be a part of the story.

  3. Uncle Wallace is one of the greatest men I have ever met. That smile could light up the dark. You will be sadly missed but I know you are holding Aunt Max hand. You are loved very much and your friends and
friends will never forget the memories you shared with us. My prayers and love go out to all family and friends.
