William A. Croce, Jr. (1952 – 2015)

BURNHAM – William A. Croce, Jr., 63, passed away March 21, 2015 at his home in Burnham.

He was born February 21, 1952 in Revere, Mass., the son of William A. and Ethel (Segool) Croce.

He graduated from Revere High School and was employed for many years as a mental health worker at the Augusta Mental Health Institute.  He enjoyed his family, especially his grandsons and god-children. He was a prolific writer, artist, and musician and enjoyed karaoke, history and movies, particularly mysteries and detective stories.

William is survived by two daughters, Melanie Croce-Galis and husband Raymond of Morristown, New Jersey; Kimberly Croce of Portland; 2 grandsons, Trajan and Julian Croce-Galis, both of Morristown, New Jersey; 3 sisters, Frances Ferrara and husband Donald of Mercer; Linda LaCroix of Plymouth, Terry Girroir and husband Frank of Pittsfield; 6 brothers, Arthur Croce of Beachmont, Massachusetts, Schuyler Croce and wife Rachel of Newport, Donald Croce and wife Carol of Nokomis, Florida, Wade Croce and wife Mary of Amesbury, Massachusetts, Lorne Croce and wife Paula of Canaan, Paul Witkowski and wife Diane of Middleborough, Massachusetts; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sister, Doreen Riley.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Millennium, 416 Oxbow Road, Palmyra, ME.
