While actively retired, Bill and Sue cared for numerous camps, lawns and gravesites in Rangeley. They also watched many come, ski and grow up at Saddleback Mountain.

They truly loved Rangeley and we, the immediate family, expect their spirits to continue to enjoy this magical lake onward.

Also preceding Bill was his brother Mark Jones with whom he was best friends and business partner at The Art Jones Company in New Britain, Conn., his sister Margaret, and his childhood brother Arthur.

Left behind in Rangeley, is his oldest niece, Linda Jones with whom an unbreakable bond of friendship and love was forged. In addition, Linda’s two sisters, Valerie Jones-Kane, who also has a residence in Rangeley, and Constance Jones Castillo, and sister-in-law Beverly, Mark’s wife, of Kensington, Conn.

Bill’s sole surviving sister Dorothy Jones-Beaudoin of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and her family also remain behind.

Billy left behind three stepchildren who were loved and raised as if they were his own children. They include Kimberly Preston-Hull of Lapel, Indiana, her husband David, Dr. Gregory Preston of Mendon, Mass., his wife Nurse Nancy and their children Amy, Ashley and Parker, and Brett Preston of Anthony, New Mexico, and his wife Tatiana and their children Hunter and Carsan.

Of honorable mention is his Golden Retriever, Lucy whom everyone in Rangeley knew as his constant traveling companion and confidante.

Memorial services will be held in the summer of 2017 with interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Rangeley. Condolences and tributes may be shared with his family on his memorial wall at www.wilesrc.com. Cremation care has been provided by the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington.
