LINCOLN – Y. Pat Martin passed over into a sky of blue at her home in Lincoln on Nov. 9, 2018.

Pat was born on Sept. 30, 1937 in Avon to Benjamin F. and Pearl L. (Ames) Savage.

She graduated from Phillips High School in 1955, worked a short while at Franklin Memorial Hospital prior to receiving her certificate of a licensed practical nurse in Boston, Mass.

Having married Kenneth L. Sprague on July 22, 1961 in Phillips, they moved to Lincoln together and raised their daughter, Karen.

Pat was employed several years at Colonial Acres Nursing Home.

During her retirement years, she enjoyed shopping, being with her friends and her Avon family reunions. She always looked forward to Phillips Old Home Days.

On a special day in the fall of 2006, she married Dr. George Martin at her home in Lincoln.

Pat is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; her husband, Dr. Martin; mother Pearl; father Benjamin; her sisters Virginia, Eloise; her brothers Reginald, Frank, Donald and infant baby brother Benjamin F. Savage, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Karen L. Murray; granddaughter Bridgett L. Spencer; sisters Julia Jan White, Geraldine Smith, Birdena Rowe; brother Richard H. Savage; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

At Pat’s request, there will be no service or visiting hours. Just reach out, put your hand in theirs with a little prayer for me.
