FARMINGTON – Zeta A. Trask, 78, formerly of Dryden, died late Sunday morning at Edgewood Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Farmington, July 13, 1937, a daughter of Harry and Gertrude (Adams) French and received her education in Jay schools.

On March 31, 1956, she married Gerald Trask. He died in 1995.

Trask worked at Norwock Shoe and later at GH Bass and Co. in Wilton. Her first priority was always her family, her kids, and the kids in the neighborhood. She was a hard-worker and there was nothing that she wouldn’t do to help someone out.

She is survived by her children, Tim Trask of New Sharon, Tena Trask-Gaboury and her husband, Ricky of Farmington, and Todd Trask and his wife, Donna of Jefferson; a special granddaughter, Jamie Medrano of Jay; grandchildren, Tyler Trask of Windham, Shaleigh and Marena Trask, both of New Sharon, Taylor and Cody Gaboury, both of Farmington; great grandchildren, Peyton and Owen Medrano, both of Jay; brothers, Michael French of Bowdoinham and Ronnie French of Wiscasset; a sister, Frances of CT; She was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Black in 1989; a bother, Wilfred and a sister, Rita.

Public memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High Street, Wilton. Relatives and friends are invited to call an hour prior to the services. Following services, a celebration reception of her life will be held at the Nordica Homestead, 120 Nordica Lane (off the Holley Road) in Farmington. Private family interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Wilton. The family suggests that those who desire, consider memorial gifts in Zeta’s memory to the American Cancer Society, Maine Affiliate, Inc., 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086-1240.
