Care And Share Food Closet Board of Directors would like to acknowledge the generosity of our great community with a big thank you for all the food donated through the America’s Letter Carriers Delivering Hope program.
On May 9, the communities of Farmington, Chesterville, and Industry were asked to leave food out for the carriers to gather and donate to their local food closets. A total of more than 3,000 pounds was given, gathered and dispersed to Care and Share Food Closet and Clearwater Ministries for which we graciously thank you for your generosity.
Care And Share Food Closet has now expanded its hours to Monday through Friday noon to 2 p.m. and Monday evening 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to help meet the increasing need. Also, we would like to thank all the volunteers who work so diligently sorting and handing out the food to those who are in need.
