A lifelong hunter and fisherman, Guy was raised in poverty in Chesterville and is a strong advocate for the forgotten middle class, for better education and retraining for higher paying jobs and for the truly needy. He is a fiscal conservative who will support the best economic growth ideas put forth by either party.
Guy knows that homeowners are the core of our communities and they cannot afford ever higher property taxes. Property taxes are rising dramatically because of drastic cut in Revenue Sharing by the current administration which gave the largest tax cut in Maine history to our wealthiest citizens.
