Letter to the Editor: Strong Fire Department thanks you

The Strong Fire Department had another wonderful turn out for our annual Chicken BBQ. The sun was shining and the people were smiling. As you all know we depend on the support of our citizens to keep a successful department going. We love to serve our community in return. The money goes toward other expenses that are not raised in our annual town meeting. We want to take this opportunity to deeply thank you all for your continuous support.

We want to express our special thanks to Tranten's grocery stores in the locations of Kingfield and Farmington for their donation. We are proud to know that our neighboring towns also are willing to express their thanks to their mutual neighbor fire department.

We would also love to extend our warm thank you Mrs. Stevens for her helping keeping us on track during the BBQ. Last and certainly not least our ladies that love to give above and beyond. Jo Morgan, Janice and Betty Bredeau. You ladies have a heart of gold. Your donation and time is always welcome. We deeply thank you for your continuous support.

We are looking forward to next year. If you have any suggestions that would improve serving you better please feel free to contact us at the department. We want to continue this tradition for a long time.
We love being an active partner in our community effort to make Strong a wonderful place to visit and live.
