Letter to the Editor: Students exhibit talent, thanks to organizers
This past Monday was a wonderful night of acknowledgement and celebration of the artistry, talent, and discipline of the art students at Mt. Blue High School.
It was the opening of the student art exhibit at the Emery Arts Center at UMF. With the gallery, along
with the whole building, overflowing with paintings, sculpture and drawings, along with students, teachers and community members, there was intergenerational sharing of much conversation and commentary.
Thank you so much Mr. Bisaillon (Mr. B) and Mrs. Farley for the decades of dedication, teaching and mentoring students, and organizing the show. Thank you to Jayne Decker for making it possible to use the
UMF space. And, thank you to the student musicians, and all the other behind the scene people who helped to make this exhibit happen. I would encourage you to see for yourself. The exhibit continues
through May 31.
