I have known Ed David for nearly forty years. He has been a colleague, a sometime adversary, a fellow church member and a friend to my husband Stan, our daughters and me, always there when we needed him.
Ed raised his children in this community, and this community shared in the life and the tragic loss of his daughter, his mother and, very recently, his only brother. I can personally vouch for Ed’s work ethic, his intelligence and his compassion for his family and for his community.
Ed David served his country in the U.S. military. He has advocated for victims of domestic violence. He is passionate about health care, education, jobs and opportunity for our citizens. He has worked for sustainable economic development for Franklin County. He has won the support of sportsmen, educators and health care workers.
Ed understands the concerns and needs of this community and has the ability to listen and to advocate strongly for us in the Maine Legislature. He will not be beholden to any partisan agenda or political ideology but will work across the aisle to get things done. Ed’s only priority will be the best interests of the people of our towns.
Ed David will be a very hard-working, independent minded representative for Farmington and New Sharon. I enthusiastically support his candidacy for the House of Representatives, and I urge the people of Farmington and New Sharon to vote for Ed on November 4th.
