Date change notice: Opening date of archery season

AUGUSTA - The opening date of the archery season for deer and turkey in the state of Maine will be Sept. 27th, 2012.

The date of Sept. 29th listed in the hunting book is NOT correct. Again, the opening date of the archery season for deer and turkey in the state of Maine is September 27th.

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife regrets any confusion this may have caused.
