RANGELEY – The Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust will be hosting its 5th Annual Outdoor Adventure Series this summer of workshop classes to be offered:

Monday, June 13 – CPR and First Aid w/ RLHT Staff

Can you help someone in need of medical assistance? Prepare for your summer outdoor activities by learning adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), AED and basic first aid skills. This course will be taught by RLHT’s Shelby Rousseau, an American Heart Association Instructor. Certification cards will be issued upon successful completion of the course. Wednesday, June 15 – Songbird Identification with Local Expert, Kirk Betts

Join local bird expert, Kirk Betts, for an introductory session for those who want to improve their bird identification skills in the Rangeley area. Why do birds sing and the importance of vocalizations? How do you find birds? Learn some simple techniques for spying some of nature’s most beautiful and audible creature. 7 A – 10 A. Limit 15. $10. Wednesday, June 29 – Flyfish the Rapid River with local, Registered Maine Guides

Wild brook trout, remote scenic beauty, and a fine meal is what we can offer in the land of legends! Come fish the Rapid River with Registered Maine Guides. Equipment provided, if needed. Wednesday, July 13 – Mooselookmeguntic Lake Boat Tour w/ RLHT Board Member

Enjoy a tour with RLHT’s founder, Ed KFoury and RLHT president, Paul Reynold. Together, they will share their knowledge of the history and legends of the Lake’s people and places.
