FARMINGTON – Children in grades first through fifth are welcome at the Community Center Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Children are free to play in the gymnasium and also receive a period of time to play in the Game Chamber as well as hang out in the Community Lounge.

Staff will be at the center to supervise all children that sign up. Children from W.G. Mallett School will be walked over as a group to the Community Center. Children from Cascade Brook will take Bus No. 26 to Mallett School and will be greeted by the center’s staff as well. Ask how your child can also have the opportunity to climb on the bouldering wall.

Middle School students have the Community Center to themselves each week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. A place to do your homework, play pick-up basketball, soccer, or football, a place to relax after a long day or school, and a safe place to be with friends. Students from Mt. Blue Middle school can request to take Bus No. 26 to the Community Center. Ask how your child can also have the opportunity to climb on the bouldering wall.

For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at 778-3464 or visit the center’s Facebook page here.
