SALEM – The Mt. Abram High School boys varsity suffered a tough 79-31 loss to Madison Thursday night.
Madison was quick to score and didn’t look back with a 20-2 score at the end of the first quarter. Madison doubled that in the second quarter to 40 with the Roadrunners at 8 points.
Madison continued its near 20-point per quarter with a 61-24 score to end the third quarter and at the final 79-31 score at the buzzer.
Top scorer for Mt. Abram was Quinton Hanna with 13 points and Chase Malloy was Madison’s leader with 14 points.
Mt. Abram plays Wiscasset at home Saturday night with a 6:30 p.m. start.
