Franklin County Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues 2014 comes to a close.
“It is in the Babe Ruth 13-15 Division, started in 1951, where the players first get their baseball feet wet under regulations and rules on regulation sized diamonds.” – from “Where the PLAYER comes first”; a Babe Ruth publication. That tradition is alive and well in the Franklin County area, where more than 112 players, ages 13-15, enjoyed another competitive season.
And with the close of the 2014 season, comes the new champions:
Players: Dylan Baker, Randy Barker III, Gavin Bridges, CJ Bullen, Isaac Cardona, Conor Damon. Griffin Mayhew, Tyler McLaughlin, Anthony O’Brien, Damieon O’Brien, Garrett Reynolds, Hunter Smith. Sam Stinson, and Owen Toothaker.
Of course, no team or season is complete without those who sponsored it!
