FARMINGTON – The Farmington Recreation Department has opened registration for its Junior Pro Basketball teams now until Dec. 10. Division I, for grades 2 & 3 and Division II for grades 4,5 & 6 consist of both boys and girls. Kim Richards is the program’s director.
The Junior Pro program is an in-house basketball opportunity for elementary students up to grade 6 who do not play on travel teams or participate in other basketball programs. All games and practices are held in the Bjorn Gym in the Farmington Community Center at 127 Middle Street in Farmington.
The registration deadline is Dec. 10. The Rec Dept. office will stay open until 6 p.m. on Dec. 10. Registration fee for Farmington residents is $25 and out-of-town residents $35. Jerseys are included in the fee. Payment is due at the registration sign-up.
