Field Hockey: Mt. Blue tops Hampden, 4-1

FARMINGTON – Mt Blue High School’s varsity Field Hockey earned their fourth win in five games to beat Hampden 4-1 on Friday.

Senior team captain, Taylor Hollingdale started the action by scoring off Mt Blue’s first corner. Not to be outdone, senior team captain, Victoria Newbill followed suit shortly after that by scoring off a nice send-in from Hannah LeClair.

The third goal scored was thanks to senior Jenna Bullen off a drive from the top of the circle. Jordyn Lawrence is credited with the fourth goal with an assist by Samantha Ellis.

Hampden didn’t give in and came on strong at the end of second half, scoring on Mt. Blue goal by Julia Sicard.

Mt. Blue’s junior varsity beat Hampden by 5-0. One goal & one assist by Gracie Foss, three goals by Jordyn Lawrence
and one goal was scored by Addisyn Davis.
