Hall Dale Tennis Invitational: Mt. Blue wins singles, doubles tourneys

FARMINGDALE – The Hall Dale High School Invitational Tennis Tournament was held on May 2 with 13 singles and 13 doubles team competing. Four high schools were represented at the tournament. Teams included Mt. Blue, Erskine, Boothbay, and Hall Dale. Here are the results for Mt. Blue players:

Sullivan Abbott of Mt. Blue wins the singles tournament.

Evan Backus loses to Sullivan Abbott 10-4 in the semi finals

Alex Bunnell def. Nick Bates of Hall Dale 10-2 in first round
Alex Bunnell def. Andy Peterson (number 1 from Hall Dale) 10-5 in quarter finals
Alex Bunnell loses to Nick Gorey of Boothbay 10-3 in the semi finals.

In doubles Thomas Marshall and Alden Thompson-Vought of Mt. Blue win championship
