FARMINGTON – The Mt Blue Area Youth Football sign ups will take place at Kemp Field on Sunday, Aug. 14.
Signups will run from noon until 2 p.m. for grades 7 and 8; 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. for grades 5 and 6; and 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. for grades 3 and 4. There will also be sign-ups on Monday prior to MBAYF Camp, starting at 4:30 p.m. for those that were unable to make it on Sunday.
Kemp Field is located on the Back Falls Road in Farmington Falls.
MBAYF Camp runs from Monday, Aug. 15 through Thursday, Aug. 18 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Campers will follow a similar format of the Sharon Hanrahan Football Skills Camp earlier this summer, but spread out over four-days.
There is a $40 fee for MBAYF Camp and a $50 fee for the MBAYF Season. The combined fee is $80 if paying for both programs at once. Fees for the camp and season help pay for the upkeep of Kemp Field and equipment.
Athletes will receive use of helmets, mouthpiece, shoulder pads, girdle pads, practice pants with pads and a game jersey. Please note that practice jerseys and cleats are not included but are recommended, as well as a personal protective cup.
