Mt. Blue field hockey wins at home to advance to eight wins

FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue girls field hockey continued its strong start this season, scoring six times to advance to 8-3-1 at the expense of Mt. Ararat.

Mt. Blue played Tuesday afternoon at the Mt. Blue Campus, scoring four goals in the first half and two goals in the second. Abby Wallace did half of the damage with three goals, with Hannah LeClair, Rebecca Harmon and Ellie Pelletier all chipping in one apiece. Assists were provided by Hannah Minns with four and LeClair with one.

Erika McArthur made the single save, while Mt. Ararat goalie Haley Frizzle had 23. Mt. Blue made 43 shots on goals, as well as 16 penalty corners.

Mt. Blue’s junior varsity squad also won, advancing to 8-2-1 on a 3 to 0 performance. Addisyn Davis, Ellie Pelletier and Addisyn Davis all scored goals, with Jenna Hanrahan and Adelle Foss notching assists.
