THETFORD, Vermont – Mt. Blue High School Junior Tucker Barber completed an outstanding season by competing in the New England High School Cross Country Championships in Thetford, Vermont on Saturday, Nov. 14.
Seeded 22nd among Maine runners and 177th overall, Barber exceeded both of those marks placing 127th (out of 257 finishers) and 15th among Maine runners in a time of 17:54 on the hilly and challenging course.
During the regular season, Barber earned first team All-KVAC honors while leading Mt. Blue to a 4th place team finish in both the KVAC and Northern Maine Regionals.
