BANGOR – A Phillips-area student participated in the statewide Maine Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot Competition recently, placing third in her age group.
Michaela Morgan represented Franklin County and the Farmington Elks Lodge at the event, which was held on Jan. 27 at Bangor High School. She took third place in the 11- to 13-year-old age group.
