Pickleball at the Farmington Community Center

screen-shot-2016-10-20-at-10-58-21-amFARMINGTON – Starting Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Farmington Recreation Department is opening up the Bjorn Gymnasium at the Community Center for pickleball.

Tuesday sessions will be 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday sessions are 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. All existing players as well as anyone new who is interested in playing the game are welcome. Organizers have set up three official size pickleball nets and offer free paddles and balls to everyone. It’s only $2 a person but if it’s your first time playing then it’s on the house!

  1. Pickleball is great! Great workout, fast paced, plays well co – ed, very social game. Great game for all ages (hear that, seniors?) totally addictive. Come get into the fun!
