The annual swim across Wilson Lake
WILTON - The annual swim across Wilson Lake was held this week. Twenty-two swimmers participated in what has become a rite of passage for the upper American Red Cross swim classes at Kineowatha Park. The swimmers ranging in ages from 10-21 gathered at 8:30 on Tuesday morning. They swam across the lake to rest at a homeowner's dock, had a quick snack, and swam back to Kineowatha all before 10 a.m.
This week completes the eight-week session of swimming lessons that more than 140 swimmers have been participating in daily Monday-Thursday. Fun Day is scheduled for this Thursday with activities for all swim groups, as well as face painting, sand castle building contests, jello eating contests, a candy toss, and a hot dog cookout at noon. For more information call Kineowatha Park and Recreation at 645-4825.

Awesome pics, Rhonda. Our guy can't wait until he is at that class level to do the same.
We just all love Kineowatha Park and it's programs and beauty. How lucky we are.
Thank you Jordan, Nate and Caitlin for the work you did this year. Genevieve and Acadia had a blast.
I have done it many times. Good memories.
