FARMINGTON – Congratulations to the exuberant participants and volunteers of the third annual Chester Greenwood 5k Walk/Run that took place yesterday Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016. Folks in Farmington came out on a picture perfect (yet chilly and windy) morning and enjoyed the early morning 5K run and walk. In keeping with Farmington’s overall 40th celebration of Chester Greenwood (local entrepreneur and inventor of the earmuffs) – all the participants received Maureen’s handmade earmuffs sporting the event logo.

Funds raised by the event will help support the Maine Brain Aneurysm Awareness Committee efforts to provide education, awareness, and research. A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Peter, Jessie, Dick, Doug, Dave and Heidi McCausland and the Farmington community for supporting this event to raise money and awareness.

  1. This group offers real support to patients, their families and survivors of a brain aneurysm.
Also, they’re real fine folks, caring for a cause while helping to educate and provide research and information.
