UMF’s Athletics Hall of Fame induction Sept. 20

FARMINGTON – A pair of two-sport standouts in basketball and soccer, a current NBA head coach, a 1,000-point scorer in women’s basketball, a pair of men’s basketball All-Americans, and one of the top men’s basketball playmakers in school history comprise the University of Maine at Farmington’s Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

Men’s basketball and men’s soccer standouts Jamie Beaudoin ’97 and Laughn Berthiaume ’98, women’s basketball player Caryn Lasante ’98, current Charlotte Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford ’83, and Jared Rivers ’00, Daren Meader ’00, and Darryl Hilliard ’88 from men’s basketball will be inducted into UMF’s Sports Hall of Fame during a dinner on Saturday, Sept. 20.
